Almost there...

The comments thing is cracking me up. So far I've had more than one person complain about having to register and create a blog just to write comments. That's really funny to me considering I had the EXACT same complaint about both G-Blog and Live Journal so long ago. I hereby officially say "Quit yer whining! Y'all wanted comments, and there's consequences for that, so there." Me, I'm still not convinced that the whole comments thing is cool yet.

  • *hangs head* Yeah... I was one of those. Ah well. Just not wanting yet another account. *sigh* I will probably break down and do it.

PS: Post something like your thought provoking entries and you may appreciate the comments more.

  • Commenting on comments. Very self reflexive.

  • I suppose I really don't have anything to complain about. I just hate having to remember all my different logins and type them in all the time.

I don't mind registering so much as the fact that it generates a BLOG for me (I had to pick a color scheme and everything) that I will never use. It just sort of seems wasteful somehow. Don't mind me.

  • I can see that, but really, it does the exact same thing on G-blog and LJ. Annoyed the crap out of me at the time. I shouldn't be surprised that this annoys the crap out of my readers, and I'm not really -- just amused.

  • The problem I had with LJ was that I wanted to register, but no one I knew had a code to give me I wasn't exactly prepared to pay just to be able to leave my name in someones comments. At least with blogger anyone can register now and post comments in their own name.
