Rarely do I read a blurb for something that taps into so many of my geek streaks at once. This American Life is doing a live show and broadcasting to movie theaters around the country. Many of the usual suspects from TAL - Ira Glass, Starlee Kine, and David Rakoff, but also Dan Savage and Joss Whedon. Joss Whedon!!!
Anyone want to join me? I'm buying tickets for the show at AMC Cupertino Square at 8pm and thinking dinner beforehand, probably at Fresh Choice there in the mall.

Squeee! We saw a TAL live show in Berkeley a few years ago. Soooo cool. We'll definitely be going to the showing here in Portland!

Thanks for the tip! I keep seeing ads for these live events, but this is the first one I've actually been interested in. :)
Unfortunately, $20 per ticket is a little steep. Any idea if this will show up on DVD later?
